During this excursion along the coasts of Gran Canaria, you will have the chance to discover beautiful places and impressive landscapes.
This tour will start from Maspalomas and the southern area of Gran Canaria. We will pick you up in the hotel and head towards Puerto de Mogan, a recognized fishing village commonly known as the Little Venice of Gran Canaria due to its canals and venetian architecture style . Here we also have a craft market, well known throughout the island.
Leaving behind Puerto de Mogan, we will continue our journey enjoying generous volcanic landscapes and great mountains of varied tonalities, crossing Mogan until reaching the town of San Nicolas, known among other things for the growing of tomatoes in Gran Canaria.
After this, we are going to continue through the west coast, where we will have the opportunity to admire the imposing cliffs that will surely leave you impressed and the highest peak in Spain, Mount Teide, with a height of 3718 meters, located on the island of Tenerife. Then we will arrive at Puerto de las Nieves, in the town of Agaete, where we are stopping to enjoy a delicious menu in a typical local restaurant, with excellent views and we are having a chance to see what remains of the famous and emblematic "Dedo de Dios” (God's finger). You can enjoy the menu at this restaurant for only € 10.50.
We will continue the tour towards the capital city of Gran Canaria, passing by the beautiful towns of Galdar, Guia and Arucas, where we are making an obligatory visit to one of the most important banana plantations on the island.
Arriving to Las Palmas, we will stop in the area of Santa Catalina where we can take a relaxing walk next to the sea and a coffee in one of the terraces always accompanied by Las Canteras Beach. You can also visit and take pictures to the famous “Alfredo Kraus auditorium”.
Later we will return to Maspalomas in the south of the island, traveling by the east road of Gran Canaria, finishing here this unforgettable excursion.
