Undoubtedly one of the best routes, including departure from Maspalomas in the south of the island, passing by Vecindario and continuing through a road that will give us an idea of what we are going to find. During the way you will be able to observe the beautiful coasts of the east of Gran Canaria.

Arriving at Las Palmas, we will have a walk around the old town of Vegueta, where we are going to have the opportunity to see and take pictures at the Cathedral of Las Palmas, the most important religious monument in the canarian arquitecture.

We will also get to know the episcopal palace, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Town Hall and the famous Perez Galdos Theater, which is the main theater of the city and permanent headquarter of the Opera Festival Alfredo Kraus, which is celebrated in Gran Canaria, being also one of the most moder theaters in Spain today after its recent reforms.

We are continuing our route visiting the Casa de Colón, an emblematic building that is part of the Historical Heritage and Museums of Gran Canaria, dedicated to the investigation and studies on the history of the Canary Islands and its relationship with America. We can't forget that in 1492 Christopher Columbus visited the the Governor's House applying for the settlement of La Pinta, one of the ships that reached the New World. In this place there are also celebrated exhibitions, concerts and other cultural activities. We will end with the visit to the local market of the city.

Then we will continue our excursion along the Avenida Maritima, place where you will be able to take pictures of the incredible views of the city and the dock of the third most important port in the Atlantic Ocean. Next, we are arriving to the Parque de Santa Catalina where you will be able to admire the beauty of the canarian coasts, go shopping and walk by Las Canteras, the most famous beach in this city, considered the European Copacabana. In this place, we can eat and drink a coffee in any of the terraces next to the sea.

We can't forget that on our tour we will visit the botanical garden Viera y Clavijo, the biggest one in Spain that is dedicated to the endemic flora of the 7 islands that form the canarian archipelago. You will be able to take pictures and enjoy a naturally pleasant experience. When leaving this beautiful garden we will head towards the Caldera de Bandama, an imposing volcano crater which is known as the volcano with the most recent eruption of Gran Canaria.

Before the end of our trip, we will return to the historical center of Las Palmas where hundreds of shops offer their articles, while you enjoy the historical center of the city.

We will finish with a visit to the biggest shopping center on the island "Las Arenas".

We will return to Maspalomas in the south of Gran Canaria to take you to your hotel, place where we will close the tour.
